Kuortane Olympic Training Center & Resort
The Kuortane Olympic Training Center has developed into a unique, multisport, international coaching center and into a keenly sought after partner for national- and international sporting bodies alike as well as for top-class, professional sports clubs and organizations. Development has been fast, such that the coaching, training and competition activities have tripled over the last 15 years at Kuortane.
As a full service Training Center we offer both individual athletes and teams training camps, which include full use of the training facilities, accommodation, catering, recovery and testing services. The Center boasts one of the country's best Testing Labs and this compliments the well-experienced coaching/training staff very well. You can be tested with a variety of muscle and endurance tests to ensure you get on the right path according to your own goals.
In the last few years the Kuortane Olympic Training Center has become even more popular for staging major sporting events and activities.

One of Kuortane Olympic Training Center specialties is the Bowling Training and Education Center. Established in 2005, Europe's first bowling training center offers bowlers from all around Europe the finest of bowling coaching and training with our professional bowling coaches. Kuortane Bowling Training Center is Finnish Bowling Federations official training and education center, with most of the Finnish national team camps and coaching education being held there. As we are also ETBF (European Tenpin Bowling Federation) Official Training and Development Center, we organize and host several international events and clinics every year.
How to get to Kuortane
By Train from Helsinki:
You can fly to Helsinki and you have two options with the train:
Take train from Airport to come to Seinäjoki. (Please note that you need to change trains at station "Tikkurila")
Take a taxi direct to Tikkurila train station from the airport to get a train to Seinajoki.
There are many trains daily from Helsinki to Seinäjoki and back. Please check Finnish Train services web page for the for timetables and also online ticket purchasing options: VR - English Site.
There is also a ticket sales office in Airport and Tikkurila railway station.
By air:
The nearest international airport is VAASA (120 km/1,5 hours by car from Kuortane). The flight to those airports change according to seasons.
